I am a certified Business/Technology teacher. I am currently teaching at Urbana High School. In the past, I have taught 5th-8th grade Spanish, Mathematics and high school level Spanish I, II, III. In terms of Mathematics, I have taught middle school Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry at the high school level.

A Little Bit About Me...

As an online graduate at Kaplan University, I quickly became aware of my priorities. Students seeking help often emailed other classmates for assistance. I was often told there were very few students who responded to their emails; however, I was one of them. I earned my Associate degree through Allegany College of Maryland. I enjoyed this area of study so much that I decided to transfer to Kaplan University Online and continue my study in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting. I attended graduation in Chicago, IL, where I learned no matter what obstacles in life you face you can continue your education if your mind is set to do it. My overall GPA at Allegany College of Maryland was 3.6 and 3.5 at Kaplan University Online.

I am a 60 year old Financial Manager, Creative Writer, Sales Executive with many years of Professional experience in several careers.
I enjoy working with younger generations. I believe stimulating intelligence and creativity in younger people sometimes requires thinking outside the box. Following instructions and completing homework certainly is a priority, as that prepares for adulthood. Going beyond that creates a desire for knowledge, and instigates entrepreneurship at a younger stage by developing desire for leadership and hunger for success.
