I do not have much experience in tutoring but i do have experience with working with children. I currently volunteer with the Rio Bravo Wildlife Institute (RBWI) in a resaca restoration project which mainly consist of teaching middle school children how to restore and preserve resacas around Brownsville. My responsibilities with RBWI included organizing meeting to teach and guide the children in ways that they can improve the resacas around their neighborhoods. A Little Bit About Me...

I taught first grade for a twelve years and I am used to using manipulatives, flash cards or whatever materials my students need to be successful. I believe that when students conquer reading/writing and are reading/writing on grade level all subjects fall into place because when students can read all subjects are easier for the student to be successful.
