I have worked with many creative mediums in my life including ceramics, clay, dried flowers, fresh flowers, beading, decoupage etc. My favorite is painting in colored pencil and I have shown my work in numerous shows in the Rochester area. I am a relaxed teacher. I love to help student's explore what they'd like to learn or paint. I offer as much or as little direction as a student needs. I like to challenge my students to paint works that may be just a bit beyond what they think they are capable of because they always surprise themselves. Painting is nourishing. It is a privilege to teach and watch how it enriches lives! I have 27 years of painting and teaching experience. I am an Assistant Professor at MCC whre I teach in Health Education.
