Writing is one of my top subjects!

I have always enjoyed English and Writing. I have kept a journal since I was in the 1st grade. I scored very high in these areas on my ACT's, as well as in all of my high school and college classes. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked quite a lot with elementary school children, whether it be in or outside of work. I have done independent tutor work, mainly in the fields of Art and Language Arts. In the past I had a long-term job in which I was required to interact with young children, and I did so willingly. For two years in a row, I taught a Beginner's Guitar course for children and the feedback I received was overwhelmingly positive. I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. I continued tutoring young students and adults in the 1990's, tutoring Basic Math, Basic and Intermediate Algebra, Basic Geometry, English Composition, Speech, Study Skills and the Sciences. My comments on tutoring Writing : I have always been a writer, ever since I can remember. I am a certified English and French teacher with 18 years of experience.

My teaching style...? I do not have only one; part of the point of tutoring is the ability to truly tailor styles/strategies to individuals or small groups. I must say that I am the funniest person I know, and I crack myself up all the time. Humor is always one of my favorite/best strategies.
