My comments on tutoring Guitar : I am an intermediate guitar player and can teach basic concepts.

I have experience tutoring children of all ages. Having younger siblings of my own, ages 10 and 14, has given me the ability to communicate and relate to kids. I have tutored for Acers tutoring in Orlando for a full year. I have full experience with teaching reading and writing, as well as somer lower level algebra and mathematic skills. The kids have ranged from ages 8-14. As well, I have been giving guitar lessons to kids between the ages of 10-14. The children have all been able to pick up quickly, and being a song writer, I encourage the kids to seek full creativity in their music and learning. In college, I've spent my time volunteering with the youth group, and helping mentor kids in the middle school age. Also, I am a double major, and have majored in Education, which has allowed me to work with JEA and create lesson plans and teach a class of seventh graders.

A Little Bit About Me...

I was enrolled in the Master's Program for Elementary Education at the University of Florida and volunteered over 300 hours in the public school system. I have only one year left before obtaining my advanced degree should I decide to return to school. I have also been a tutor and mentor for at-risk youth.
