I have five children of my own and spend many hours helping them with school work. I have found that patience and repetition in many cases are very good paths to success. I do not believe in becoming frustrated with children that do not understand as it only raises their frustration level as well. I also think that using real world examples while teaching is key to helping them understand. I am able to bring these examples to the table having many years of experience working outside of a teaching environment with real projects.

In teaching children with learning disorders I ensure that all lessons are hands-on and learner centered. I am very patient and like to have fun with my students. My lessons are geared to ensure that all students have basic foundations to learn the essential skills needed to succeed.
