I do believe that teaching students depends on the types of students you teach. You have to consider their learning style. This includes different teaching strategies suited for your students. His is so important as far as what type of assessments that should be given in order to evaluate whether your students are ready for any final test to be given such as Standardized Test like SAT, SOL, College Board Exam.
I have been teaching all types of Mathematics for 30 years from Elementary up to college. Presently, I am a full time high school math teacher teaching Algebra I and II and AP Calculus. I have taken pretty much all the courses that leads up to calc 2. I always struggled in math in high school so I completely understand what its like being lost in a math course. When teachers have no idea how to teach, when you dont know anyone in the class and when tutors cost too much.
