Math is a tool for success, not to frighten people.

With the experiences of Sylvan, Mathnasium, and High School lessons under my belt, I have combined the best aspects that each has to offer. Rather than holding a student's hand through a lesson and letting them develop a learned helplessness that can add to test anxiety, I use Socratic questioning to help people make important conclusions about topics so that they retain what they are seeing. Through a combination of practice and discussion, I strive to build confidence as well as skill so that students can go forward into their mathematical endeavors.

I'm an Industrial Engineer with an MBA. I've been working on the IT field by programming software and implementing huge business enterprise software. I took many maths, financials, physics, statistics, among other courses. During my college time, I become a tutor and then a teacher assistant. When I finished college I started working and focused on my career and building a family. I have two boys now. One day my older boy needed help with math and I was so happy I could help him. Then he always is looking for me for more math. He enjoyed math so much that decided to go to mechanical engineering school. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a degree holder in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Buea in Cameroon. I lectured and tutored high school students in areas like Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, and basic computer information technologies. Presently tutoring College students at Midwestern State University in Beginning, Intermediate, and College Algebra, whilst pursuing a Pre-MBA program and awaiting formal entrance into the Full MBA program in Fall 2011.
