A Little Bit About Me...

I left full time teaching 3 years ago. I was the whole math dept. I taught 6,7,8,9th grade math in a private school. I did not realize how much I would miss it. I sometimes day dream about how I would teach a certain topic a different way. I have always thought that teaching is magical. When you have been working with a child and trying to get an idea from your head to theirs, and they say with a light in their eyes "I get it" WOW, what could be more magical.

I entered college as a pre-med student and came out a writer, but since my family insisted all writers lived in garrets, I became a teacher. Later I traveled with first a classical choir and then a rock band, put my editing skills to work for a geopolitical organization and lectured on economics, dialectical materialism, spirituality, and more mundane topics, such as camping and travel.
