Believing that people learn best from what they consider most relevant to their lives, my teaching style is one which encourages learners to seek a higher level of knowledge. In addition to reading textbooks, the students must learn by doing. I encourage life long learning by promoting a sense of what it takes to successfully retrieve information when one needs it later. Basic memorization generally fails us all in time. Modifying or adapting information in a manner to help the learner reach success is crucial. A Little Bit About Me...

I have had wonderful experiences teaching students of all ages and I think one of the best ways to reach students is to teach them individually. Usually, this is a luxury that one cannot afford in a classroom. As such tutoring will allow to focus on the individual needs, learning styles, and talents of the particular student I am teaching and help them draft, short, medium and long-term goals, and work toward achieving all three.
