I have since then worked with children in low poverty communities in Atlanta Georgia, in order to provide an alternative method to learning to ensure that children receive the appropriate level of understanding of various subjects.

I believe that students learn in a variety of ways and demonstrate their understand in many ways as well. Therefore, I strive to help students learn what type of learner they are by identifying their strengths and weaknesses and utilizing those in teaching. I also use Bloom's Taxonomy to take learners from learning knowledge to critical thinking. My strength in teaching is my ability to make a connection of the student and being approachable. After graduating, I began working on my Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Mathematics with Walden University. I am only two classes short of completing my degree and will have it finished up in a little over four months.
