It definitely is important to combine styles. I use direct instruction, as well as guided instruction, and groupwork. I earned my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics. I was a substitute teacher for three years. I recently earned nine credit hours of additional education in order to renew my teaching license with the State of Ohio.
