If I could learn, than anyone can.

I taught Quantitative Analysis lab for 3 years at Texas Women's University. I have many students that still contact me and thank me for my help. They said I would have made a great teacher. I also teach and train in my current job as a surgical tech. I believe in the "hands on" approach to learning. Since graduation college, I have been employed in the private sector of environmental chemistry laboratories. Part of my responsibilities include teaching and training new employees. This includes both the physical and chemical concepts as well as the math required to report results as produced by meters and instrumentation. Secondly, I tutored Freshman Algebra and various sciences while in college. And, most recently, I have been homeschooling my kids for the past 4 years. My daughter is now a Sophomore and will begin taking dual credit coursework next Fall under my tutoring.
I have spent a career in science. I believe that quality one on one or small group teaching is the best way to improve an understanding of what can be complicated concepts and have them make sense.
