I have had a passion for education since I was a third grade student. I always thought I wanted to be a teacher "when I grew up." I earned a BA in psychology and started a Master's program in elementary education. Due to personal circumstances, however, I was not able to complete the program. I then taught early childhood and continued to volunteer in schools. I now work in the education department at Bradley University. From my experience of working the Math Lab at ICC, I have noticed that for some students, math is a rather difficult subject to them. Therefore, I always try to make sure my students understand everything I'm explaining and I always ask them for feedbacks so I know that they clearly understand everything. I always go over and review the materials I have taught/explained to the students so if there are any shady areas, I make sure I go over and expalin it again.
