My comments on tutoring World History : Students of World History will garner a sense of place, and self as they learn through time and distance the various components of what makes people who they are.

Hands on, project based. Whether with a group or one-on-one, I consider learning to be best experienced when all five senses are utilized to their maximum potential. Students of all ages will learn through creative game play, creative projects, and creative writing.

Hands on, direct, will not bash you with criticism but will give quite enough to help. I probably quite understand where you are coming from.
Have had several very succcessful classes in biology (anatomy in particular) and english, writing, history. I have with a group successfully dissected a full human cadaver. I have also tutored summer school in the past so I am comfortable working with people. I am familiar with both MLA and Turabian essay format. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2006 wiht a degree in Psychology. While attending USM I taught a combined class Of 3rd And 4th grades. for the past 16 years I have tutor Reading, Math, History, and basic science to children in my family and community. I also substitute teach for 3 school districts.
I believe a child can learn any subject put before him/her. With the belief that a child can learn, it is my challenge to find out what style of learning best fits each child being tutored. I loved working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, but it was extremely hard finding a job doing that in my area. Due to that fact, I started tutoring as many kids from the local schools as much as possible and I loved doing it. I had always wanted to be a teacher. I taught for 13 years in the Mobile County Public School System at one school. I then took time off to raise my children. I worked for 12 years at St. Luke's Episcopal School teaching English and History. My next assignment was with Cottage Hill Christian Academy for nine years.
