I lived in Egypt, Dubai and America. I assisted Americans in learning both The Egyptian and Gulf dialect of Arabic. I also taught the customs and culture of the Middle East. While in the UAE (Dubai), I tutored Arabic students in American English, customs and common phrases. I have lived in the United States for several years and enjoy helping others to learn more about the language and culture of the Middle East. I also enjoy teaching Arab speakers the language, both proper and common, of the United States.

Learning can be fun...if done the right way

Fun teaching methods. Reading simple books and signs for starters. Songs and learning the lyrics is a good and effective way to learn a new language
I lived my whole life in Damascus, Syria. Coming to the States every summer was very interesting for me, having the best of both worlds, my mother being from Kentucky, and my father syrian. Throughout my life, i never understood the value of being bilingual. Now i am very grateful for my upbringing and the education i was given. Arabic is a hard yet beautiful language, and one that will be spoken by all soon. I studied in the International school of Choueifat for 10 years, and for my senior year in high school, moved to a boarding school in Brummana,Lebanon. Sadly Arabic was not taught in that school, and thats when i came to appreciation with the language we all take for granted.
