I am currently a tutor and mentor for a fifth grade child in Delaware, Ohio via the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I have gained a tremendous amount of experience working with this student in and out of the classroom, and it has allowed me to develop my teaching skills in all areas of curricula. I tutor my student in each and every one of her subjects. I also informally tutor some of my peers at Ohio Wesleyan University, particularly in Science classes, in which I am most experienced. I am a very interactive teacher. I find it helpful for the students I work with if I am able to relate a lesson to something else with which they are familiar. I like to use tangible learning tools and hands on methods, allowing the student to get the most experience possible with a lesson in order to really grasp and have deep understanding of the material.

I have earned my bachelors degree in May 2009. I am currently a preschool teacher in sylvania. I have worked with children by babysitting, assistant teacher and now a teacher for nearly 5- 6 years. I love children and being able to help them is what I love to do. I love teaching and working with childre. I am able and want to help your child in any way that I can.
