A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is something that has always come natural to me. Whether its giving golf lessons out at the local country club, or teaching my younger siblings math and chemistry. It is something that I enjoy and I will persist until results are shown. My teaching style is to first observe, then diagnose flaws and work from there. I have taught Spanish in high schools in PA and MD. I have taught for 20 plus years as a full time teacher. Mainly, the instruction was in grades 9 thru 12 at the Spanish I-IV level. I also have experience teaching literature in the junior high grade levels.

As a graduate of a sound Liberal Arts College, I've learned that the greatest asset I took away with me was the art of communication. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus in Creative Writing and Spanish. I have a Bachelors Degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland which includes two concentrations: Second Language Spanish, and Human Development. I have tutored three individuals over the past five years. The first was a 3rd grader in reading and comprehension. The second student was a tenth grader in grammar and composition. And more recently, I tutored a seventh grader in second language Spanish. I have gotten good results with my students.
