I love to learn and spread knowledge.

I have tutored fellow classmates in HS. I've taught my nieces and nephew to understand and love mathematics, as well as respect science, which is really just the real-world application of mathematics. I will begin by walking you through how to solve the problems. After a few sessions of that, we will then move on to simple exams taken by the student to gauge your knowledge. Finally, we will end with a practice exam to ensure that you are at the appropriate level.
I am an instructor at Virginia College and VC recently cancelled its ASVAB tutoring program. I have had many successful students go through the program, but due to funding constraints the college can no longer support the initiative. Along the way to earning my BS in Civil Engineering, I was exposed to a broad range of mathematics and different areas of physics. I immediately noticed that I excelled in these subjects and took the opportunity to tutor others in these disciplines for two years while in college. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught 29 years in public and private schools. I have home schooled. I have been a teacher evaluator and a mentor of first year teachers. I have been on the Berkeley County Teacher Forum. I have taken many in-services. The last couple I have taken were Math Solutions and Smart Board Notebook. I am Reading Recovery trained. I am working on a dissertation and hope to finish in December.
