I have 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of mental health, special education, and substance abuse programs. I am certified in CPR for Adults, children, and infants. I am certified in Standard First Aid. I'm also certified in non - violent crisis intervention. I've been trained in Adventure based counseling (Project Adventure and New Games). A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very linear thinker, which is most helpful in the sciences. I present the material in an organized, logical manner. I love microbiology, and I try to make it as "fun" as possible. It is a very important subject and touches many aspects of all our lives. People have different learning styles, so I incorporate visual and hands-on work in addition to interactive exercises. I realize that microbiology can be a difficult subject to comprehend, so I do my best to take away the mystery and explain in detail in order to help the students grasp the subject. I expect the student to do his/her best, and I will do everything I can think of to help them master the subject at hand.
