There have been numerous studies showing that different types of learning exist, and it is my belief that each individual student needs to be taught through adaptive teaching methodologies. I believe that everyone is unique, and each student needs to develop their own style of learning. It is the job of the educator to discover those different styles and implement a teaching method that is most advantageous to the student.
Having earned a bachelor's degree in Theology and Apologetics with superior academic achievement,I have challenged myself academically, and developed excellent writing and argumentative skills. I strongly support the belief that all children are capable of learning if given sufficient opportunity. As a classroom teacher often facing as many as 37 students at one time, it was difficult to provide the appropriate learning environment for many of these children's needs. Through small group tutoring, however, the right learning environment can be created if the tutor fosters a positive relationship with the student. As the youngest of three children, I always wanted a younger sibling and became the busiest baby-sitter in my town throughout middle and high school.
