I am the mother of 3 children and an elementary education teacher. Currently I am teaching 2nd grade but I've been teaching for 5 years and have experience in grades k,1, 2, 3 and 5. I've also had substitute and tutoring experience with grades k-12. I have experience with special needs both through my own children and within the classroom. In addition to a Bachelor's Degree I have 6 additional credit hours towards my Master's Degree and am currently enrolled in a 3 hour course. I love children of all ages. I am very patient and laid back. I am kind, and considerate of others. My goal would be to help the child learn and understand, while making the experience a fun and rewarding one. I believe everyone has the ability to do whatever they strive for. I had a teacher in my youth that made such a huge impact in my life, and I have always wanted to repay that favor to other children. I strongly believe that one good teacher can make all the difference in a child's academic career.
I have always been driven to achieve a high level of excellence in everything I do. As a college student, I tutored many of my friends and peers for free.
