I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I taught a few Science classes including botony and a study of birds and have tutored in highschool math as well. I played volleyball, took 3 years of piano, and was a member of Chior as well. I worked as a teachers aide in a preschool for 2 years. I worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years. I plan on going to college for either business or diognostic sonography.
I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I believe its the teachers responsibllity to understand how their students learn best and then help communicate the curriculum to them in a way that they will best uderstand and retain that knowledge.

My experience and educational accomplishments enable me to be an effective teacher. This recent accomplishment gives me the ability to teach in an academic environment and also to apply my recent experience in test taking techniques. I have been very active volunteering in the public schools. My children’s state testing scores are in the top 1% and 4% in the nation for reading and math. I have been a strong supporter of making education exciting. Both of my children play the violin. They are also involved in sports and dance programs. I model my teaching after the same style I enjoyed as a student. Helping a student discover for themselves the material not only educates them but fosters a passion for the subject at hand.
