Teaching and tutoring have been my life's work. Though the majority of my experience is at the college level, I love working with students of all ages. All children have the ability to learn; some need more help than others finding that one pedagogical method that really makes everything "click" for them. A Little Bit About Me...

I was a lectuter in an Indian University, teaching undergraduate courses for Electronics and Communications major. Was a teaching assistant during my Masters in India. When I was doing my MS in Electrical Engineering in Kansas State University I was a teaching assistant. I love tutoring and mentoring. I have enjoyed teaching and have almost 4 yrs of experience.
My main focus on teaching is on understanding the subject and problem solving. I teach them the tools and methods and help them solve the problem independently. In case of very weak students I try my best to go down to their level and teach them. Academic excellence is my top priority. At the end of the day, a students success is what matters to me. My teaching style is one of discipline and at the same time hands-on. Students must feel the relevance of the world around them in order to gain an understanding of what's being taught. I work with the individual but never let the focus off of the competition that's waiting. Students must understand that learning is an every day, every moment experience. It's all about how they see the world around them. I love teaching and working with children. The "aha" moment is what I live for. As a long-term adjunct instructor, I have successfully cultivated an effective set of best teaching practices relative to the English language and Communications. I make every conscious attempt to relate to my students as individuals and to meet their educational needs. Additionally, I exert much effort with students to impress upon them the importance of education in their lives and the fact that learning can be totally fun.
I find it rewarding to teach children and adults the necessary skills that allow them to obtain full English literacy.
