My comments on tutoring Violin: I have been playing violin for over 6 years. I taught myself the violin, and able to teach others. I have completed and passed the ABRSM Grade 5 violin exam, and have also completed the equivalent for music theory. I have played in a variety of orchestras and emphasize on good technique.
I try to make the lesson fun and applicable to real life so that the student can be interested in the topic instead of just feeling like they have to memorize the information. I acquired my tutoring experience teaching my classmates a few lessons of math classes here and there in subjects like pre-algebra, both algebra I and II, and pre-calculus. From my tutoring classes, they have seen significant results.I have also had previous experience in teaching piano using the Suzuki program. My tutoring experience also stretches on into teaching violin, in which again the students have seen significant improvement.
