I attended a preparatory school in Junior High and High School. I then went on to Mississippi College where I obtained a Bachelor degree in Home Economics with an emphysis on Fashion Merchandising. When I became a mom, I decided to home school my kids so that I could take an active part in their education and I could guide them in ways that someone else might not find interesting or important.

I enjoy helping people in any way that I can. I would like to help your child be able to understand what he or she does not have a good grasp on as well as hopefully teach them how to be academically successful. While teaching my father how to use the computer, I learned patience. While employed at the high school, I learned that not only does every child learn at a different rate, but what works for one, does not work for everyone. I like to initially view the student’s way of working out the problems. This way I know what they do well and where they are making mistakes, and the places I can help them do better. I am very patient and able to break down things so the student will understand. I love math and like teach it to others.
I volunteer at City Rescue Mission. I have tutored children with their homework for more then 6 months. I continue to work at Rose State College as a math tutor in subjects up to College Algebra. I have earned a bachelor degree from UCO in forensic science which required knowledge of Calculus.
