Upon graduting from college, I became an after-school tutor, grades 4-6, focusing on all levels of homework and emphasis on students who had particular needs. I entered the teaching field in 2005 as a high school English teacher in grades 9 and 12. I love teaching and encouraging others. I really like to pass on my experiences. I am not a naturally smart person, I worked hard all through school and understand the challenges. As a U. S. Naval Officer one of my main responsibilities was training my division as well as the other officers in my area of expertise. The training consisted of Anti-submarine warfare and Damage Control aspects of a Naval ship. I maintained and managed the training of all the fire fighting and damage control for the entire ship. This training consisted of lectures, presentations as well as hands on scenarios.
