Just breathe, everything is solvable :)!

My name is Maria Sedrak. I am a Material Sciences Engineer. I spent my college years teaching Piano to kids starting from 4 years old to married couples. I also were a Junior TA in the Physics Department back in my University for two consecutive semesters. I also freelanced at giving Mathematics classes to middle school students. I also performed in front of a large crowd multiple times making me able to interact greatly with people.
I like to simplify whatever problem the student is facing in order for him/her to be able to independently solve it. I always like to remind them that nothing is hard, it is just how they are looking at the problem and organize their thoughts. I like to provide illustrations and visuals for the student and make the class more interactive.

A Little Bit About Me...

Earning a BS in Materials Science and Engineering involves knowledge of math, physics, and chemistry. Grammatical and writing skills have been strengthened over the years by writing for the college newspaper, laboratory reports and an extensive amount of research papers due to interests in public policy. Engineers usually cannot write; I can. I tutored extensively in high school, it was my primary income stream, while college revolved more around study groups where whoever knew the most took the lead. It was a revolving position but I often held it.
I feel that understanding the 'why' leads people to more easily grasp larger concepts and makes mistakes easier to recognize.
