Math and Business Tutor

I have completed all College level Math classes for an Electical Engineering degree. Math is my area of expertise. I also have several other areas that I have tutored and been able to help students (see my course list). My experience includes 25 years of real world experience in the engineering and business fields which when balanced with my book based knowledge has allowed me to improve the tutoring experience by providing concrete, real world examples within several study areas.
Open to what style works best for the student. I can teach directly through examples, check work that the client has completed, ensure preparation for any test is adequate, etc.

My teaching style is a direct, hands-on approach where I believe in using everyday scenarios to make a subject enjoyable to the student. I also believe in allowing the student to interrupt the teaching process at the moment they have a question as opposed to having the student wait until the end of the lesson and have the question leave their thought process. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught a few weapons classes and use of force classes as a security forces member in the Air Force. However, I have never taught classes on a regular basis.
As a supervisor and trainer in the military, it was my responsibility to train the new individuals that came into the job. There was a lot of studying material that I constantly had to sit down and go over with them. We made flashcards, took notes, made up quizzes, did verbal question and answers, etc. I actually used to tutor math in High School when I was in an advanced Calculus class and have helped many friends with their college math. As a grad student, I am writing lots of essays which has really helped me with my English skills. I have a lot of academic experience that I would love to utilize while tutoring.
