A major drawback in current teaching methods at schools and institutions is the absence of efforts to educate students, why they should learn things they are being taught. I try to understand the students need level of interest and proficiency prior to designing multimedia and multi methodology course or delivery methods filled with real world application and references to fill the students need. My classes and presentations are interactive, fact filled and simplistic in nature with stress on reasoning rather than accumulation of facts and information. As a graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media. Before I pursued a degree in Media, I pursued a degree in Engineering for 3 semesters. I've taken classes such as Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry in both high school and college. I often unofficially tutored other classmates who were struggling. At the time I switched out of the Engineering major, I had a GPA of 3.05. I was not doing poorly, I was simply looking for something I was more passionate about. I found that in Media. I decided to use that degree to pursue a career in screenwriting, so I am also strong in English and writing.
