A Little Bit About Me...

At the University of Illinois at Chicago I earned a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering and worked as a teaching assistant for three sememsters of graduate school. After leaving the university I tutored former students from my labs in math, science, engineering, and programming. I did this as hobby. I enjoy working with students. I am currently helping someone working on a master's degree in computer science.
I love teaching. I always get well prepared before I sit down with someone. A couple of hours of preparation beforehand can make the difference between a tedious, unproductive experience and one that encourages the student and makes the excited about learning. I realize that math can be very boring to students, but contrary to popular belief it can also be, do I dare say it, fun. I believe that repetition plays an integral part in learning, but only if the material is relevant to the student. I really enjoy working with students no matter the age and I believe that everyone can be successful when it comes to math or any subject to that matter.
After graduating from high school, I was unsure what exactly I wanted to do.
