While at the University of Tulsa I have tutored in both math and chemistry, so I have experience with those subjects in particular. Though I received a bachelors in Psychology I was also pre-med, so I was required to take several heavy science courses as well. As such I am also proficient in several biological subjects.
Generally I will try to ask questions to see which specific points a student needs assistance with and make sure they understand the material on a fundamental level. I also believe that practice and hands-on experiences teach the most, so there tends to be an emphasis on working through problems step-by-step than lecturing. Ultimately I am flexible, and can change my style and routine to accommodate the students' needs.

Do whatever it takes to better yourself.

I like to study in different ways. Challenge the mind and retain the knowledge. Play games to help study, hands on experience, field trips, and organization.
I am a Psychology major at the Univeristy of Central Oklahoma with a minor in Art and Sociology. (GPA: 3.5) I also have previouse tutored at Kumon. I am a very hard working student and I expect others to be hard working as well. There is not shame in saying that you need help. We all do at one poing in time or another. I myself have had tutoring in the past. Some things are hard to understand and we just need a little help from someone else. As a graduate in Education with a 3.84 grade point, I strive for excellence in everything that I do.
