Poor college kid trying to make a living

I’m good with kids, high school and below I can break it down easily, I have good study habits, and I like to encourage people to better themselves educationally. I ask a lot of questions to get the students thinking. I believe in teaching young people and the adults I have worked with to think critically fist. A Little Bit About Me...

As a high school student, I was very active in extracurricular activities. I participated in the rotary club, volunteering at local soup kitchens. I was also a member of the Newspaper, Quiz Bowl, Robotics Team, soccer and baseball throughout my high school career. If I were to sum my "style" of teaching up, it would be "patience with determination". Perhaps my best achievment is with my wife who recently graduated from A-B Tech. Kate has always had a block toward anything mathematic. She had one course between her and graduation, college algebra! The bottom line here is that I patiently stuck through this course treatment with her to a successful completion, she completed the course and graduated with a well earned "C" or a 78%. With patience and determination shared together with the student, impediments like a dread for math can be overcome.
