I like to get to know my student. Being a little older, I find it easier to do this. This getting to know the student, includes understanding their needs and what they know. Once I get to know the student, learning can progress. I am good at summarizing the information they need. This summery is short, specific, and most important, clear. Its explaining material clearly and at the rate the student can understand, that makes a good tutor. The students are happy to learn, and this good feeling make learning even better.
