My comments on tutoring Speaking : I possess a background in extensive public speaking experience.

I believe in tutoring so that the child receives feedback and fully understands his/her own limitations and how to overcome obstacles in class. Many children lack positivity in the methodology! I also believe that using art instruction helps children to learn in a more creative manner.
I have over of 30 years of progressive experience in tutoring young children in the elementary years of education in all subject matter areas. My specialty is literacy and reading, but I am also adept in teaching all of the math curricula as well. I also firmly believe that teaching organizational skills and proper research methodologies are very important for the classroom today--and every child needs these skills in order to excel in the classroom and survive. I offer 16 years of English writing instructional experience. I have taught a diverse range of students, both in terms of abilities and cultural backgrounds. Instructional areas include English as a second language, developmental concerns, creative writing and poetry (I am a published poet), professional and technical writing.
