As a Union University graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Mathematics after studying for a year as a Pre-Med Chemistry major, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in many various areas of study. I love helping people. I feel that a student can always teach a student better than a teacher. Their teaching style is a lot forgiving and the student is less intimidated knowing that someone else has been where he/she is currently. It also takes a great deal of patience to teach someone something and a forgiving nature. I excel at both of those.
As a high school student, I excelled at my schoolwork. I was retained as a tutor for middle school students in math and science subjects. When I entered college, my major in engineering has required that I take a lot of upper level math and science courses. These rigorous courses have strengthened my math and science skills. I am very well versed from algebra all the way to Calculus two.

A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching, in my opinion, is a matter of patience. Each child can learn a skill, though the amount of time it takes to learn that skill may vary from child to child. Some children simply need a few more extra hours per week to pick up the essential skills they will need to be successful in life. Education is so very, very important. My belief is that each child can succeed in life if they are taught that school and learning are both fun and important. I hope to instill that belief in every child.
