During my years attending UMass Dartmouth, I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. But I also gained alot of experience working with children. In May 2008, I received my BA in Elementary Education and Sociology. Upon graduating, I took a summer job working as an Aid for a Collaborative Program. In December 2008, I was hired as a Severe and Profound Special Education Teacher for the collaborative. I worked with students with a wide range of diagnoses including Autism and Intellectual Impairments. I learned to adapt my lessons to students with a wide range of abilities.
