You can do anything you set your mind to!

I have tutored kids at my Church whenever someone has needed help. I am very patient and understanding of how frustrating certain topics can be, so I know I am a great candidate for tutoring. I am exceptionally great with younger kids who have ADD or ADHD since I have struggled with that myself. I know exactly how it feels to have a hard time focusing, so I would really be able to help any child with this struggle.

I stayed there for six years before taking a break to finish college. In summer 2009, I started tutoring with the Boys & Girls Club in Montevallo. Also in summer 2009, I started tutoring high school students from Bibb, Chilton, & Shelby counties through the Upward Bound program at the University of Montevallo. A Little Bit About Me...

I truly enjoy teaching math and enjoy watching the 'click' when a student begins to understand the concepts. I believe many students have been erroneously convinced that "they don't get math" or that math is too hard. I believe in not just working through the problems at hand but in trying to help each student gain a better understanding of the thinking process involved in solving problems.
