I am currently in school to become a middle school language arts/social studies teacher. I am about to enter my junior year of college. I have volunteered in middle school classrooms. I have been doing one-on-one care with individuals with mental/physical disabilities for the past year and a half working for the Arc of NC. I'm 24 and mother of a 1 year old (he may be with me while tutoring). I'm laid back and believe there is a natural process that must take place for us to learn and absorb new material.
