My comments on tutoring Homework Help : Can help with up to high school level

I have experience in all of the fields that are listed. Most of the skills I have acquired were either through learning them during my time at school or through doing personal research because they interested me. I have done some tutoring in the computer/i.t field as a side job. Chess has been one of my favorite things to learn. My experience with chess has been a regional tournament where I made it to the last-round of the semi-finals.

I believe in helping people that need help. So in college I began tutoring and started to do a bunch of community service projects. I have two years in tutoring experience. Meeting the student where they are at academically and striving to help them succeed in school is my teaching style. That might require stacking up 100 pennies to teach about percentages; drawing pictures or graphs to teach how to do words problems in math; or making up short stories using the phonics and reading skills I’m trying to teach.
