I have had 7 years of life experience teaching both of my daughters and their friends about the world around them. I teach them about the basics of geology and life science including plant life. English and spelling. Also I teach them about the basics of freehand drawing. We work on line spacing and using geometric designs in their drawing. And using negative space in their drawings.
I believe that involving the student with as much hands on learning as possible, helps them in being able to relate with and withold what they are learning. Also paying attention when there are areas of struggle for the student and focusing attention on them. I also took photography and art history. Although these classes required artistic talent, my true art education began in high school.
