A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated Cum Laude from UW-Oshkosh with a BS in Education, Early Childhood – Adolescence, with a Spanish Major and an ESL minor. In teaching, I've completed several diversity hours, students with special needs hours, clinical hours, teaching for Girl Pioneers, two weeks of seminar/teaching in Mexico, tutoring, as well as one semester of full time student teaching. I’ve taught several subjects and every grade from PK-12. Currently, I work as the Assistant Coordinator of a 21st century school program and as a Senior Line Therapist. I graduated from UW Oshkosh with a BS degree in Elementary Education and English. I have been a teacher for 18 years. I have taught all subjects to PreK, second and third grades. I have also worked with At risk high school students. I am currently a professional caregiver and activity aide in a group home with individuals who have physical and cognitive disabilities.
As a teacher, I believed strongly in cooperative learning where peers are taught to teach each other. I enjoy one on one teaching where I can focus on a students' needs much easier. I believe that hands on experiences are beneficial to all students. Each child learns differently and I like to focus on and teach according to their learning style.
