For the past two years, I have been teaching journal-writing and college classes at the Louisville Comprehensive Care MS Center. Prior to that, I have tutored students ages 7-40 in a various set of topics, primarily math and business subjects.
My preferred style of teaching is student-lead. I believe in the Socratic method, but appreciate following a curriculum, as well. I volunteer at a Montessori school and I know that getting learners of all ages interested and excited about a topic is the key to retention.

Continuing education is vital to the success of many engaged in the ever diversifying classroom. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Webster University graduate, I pursued advanced degrees (Master of Arts) in the fields of HR Management and HR Training and Development. I also attained a BS in Business Administration at Spalding University. I have used the Training and Development degree to a large extent. This comes with tutoring adults to young children in the areas of English, Grammer and Writing. This training that I have done has occured for the last 10 years.
