I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science. While at Coastal I co-founded a Shark Research Club and performed population studies on sharks in Winyah Bay, SC. After graduation I worked at a Shark Research facility in South Bimini, Bahamas, where I worked hands on with Doctorate students on various projects. My style tends to range based on who I am trying to teach, and I suppose is most accurately labeled as adaptive. I understand that different people learn things in different ways, and so I try to accommodate that with my teaching. For instance if I found that a student learns better visually then I would attempt to use visual cues and examples in lesson plans to make the material as easy to understand as possible.
