Vocals is one of my top subjects! I have been singing since an early age. I am currently a senior music major with an emphasis in vocal performance at Birmingham Southern College. I have also been the lead singer in several bands, and I am currently singing and playing in the Lauren-Michael Sellers Band in Birmingham. I have worked with classical, broadway as well as modern music.

I enjoy taking students' interests and style of music into consideration when planning instruction. I then back them up to show them how to get to the point of expertise to be able to perform that genre of music. I am also very interested in the history of music and what has led us to where we are today in music. I have a strong ear for music, but I also believe that sight reading and formal training is important. Young students seem to relate well to me because I am only 21.
