The best validation I have for my teaching style is to watch my students. They are well-rounded in their knowledge and confident in their performance. I have been teaching for over twenty years, primarily Middle School Language Arts. I have also taught Head Start, fourth grade, third through eighth grade science, and kindergarten through eighth grade music. I earned my Master’s degree in Classroom Education with an emphasis in MS Language Arts. Desiring to help as many students as possible, I continued taking classes toward a Reading Specialist’s degree. I was unable to complete the last class, a practicum course, because we moved out of state. Attending a private liberal arts college taught me to push myself to be the very best I could be. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classics with an emphasis on Greek, and a minor in English. I tutored for a January term Beginning Greek class, as well as whenever students stopped in the office and needed help with Greek or Latin.
