I have been described as a shotgun teacher, tossing information both above and below level to each student, so that those overachievers may always be challenged, and those who are struggling may without embarrassment pick up missed information. I am considered quite capable in the area of discovering basic learning blocks that have been missed. As the son of a teacher, education has always been an important part of my life. For the past 25 years I have had the pleasure of working with youth in many different capacities. I have coached, mentored, tutored and taught all ages. After receiving my teaching certificate in 1998, I spent a few years working as a substitute teacher teaching in all subject areas for all grades.
