A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is my passion I enjoy seeing the end result, when the student sees what they have accomplished. That is my reward. I understand that people in general usually fall into 1 or more of these learning styles: Visual/Verbal, Visual/ Nonverbal, Tactile/Kinesthetc, or Auditory/Verbal. I personally use the style that best suits my student and work from that point. However, I am very enthusiastic and the passion is just so exhuberant through my teaching that it becomes contagious to the student that is learning.
I earned a degree in Biology, which has fully equipped me for tutoring to children who have difficulties in any subject, but especially science. A Little Bit About Me...

During my doctoral studies at UCSD, I began to tutor professionally as a way to earn extra income. It seemed like a logical choice for a part-time job as I had been helping friends with homework for almost as long as I could remember. Given my extensive scientific training, the vast majority of my tutoring experience has been in Science or Math. However, I would be able to tutor other subjects, such as English and Psychology as well.
As a tutor, I try to identify the learning strategies of my students and then build off of those.
