I am working on a master's degree in communication.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style depends on the person I am working with and the subject matter we are exploring. Everyone learns differently and that needs to be respected and appreciated. My entire background revolves around teaching. I taught in a Preschool while I was working on my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I realize that learning reading and writing skills can be difficult. When I teach young people, I work to push each person patiently but constantly to improve with each lesson. Each person learns a little differently, and I like to learn the student’s strengths and weaknesses and work from there. I support hands-on learning. There is only so much a person can talk about writing. The best way to learn writing is to write. The best way to improve reading comprehension is to read. Reading unlocks vocabulary. And a good vocabulary helps in written and verbal communication.
