Go over the basics and then assisted practice to see short comings in understanding. Address the shortcomings and make sure the student understands thorough further practice. Every student is different, I will try and work with each student to see what style works best. I will also be open to feedback and address any specific issues that go along with learning the particular subject. A Little Bit About Me...

This particular position interests me because I struggled with math through middle school and understand the frustration it can create for a student. Mathematics is now my strongest subject and I chose the profession of accounting to utilize those strengths. During my time at college, I helped other students with their studies in math and business, specifically statistics and quantitative analysis. Although this teaching experience was with college level students, I have held a summer job working with 8-12 year olds for the past four years.
